Essentially, I have been working for free to make sure your child is afforded every possible opportunity. I have been working alongside existing board members to resolve issues before they affect your child’s school. Broward County Public Schools have made major strides in education in recent years but we still have a long way to go. I have 5 years of volunteer service in the Broward County Public Schools system, including 2 years in leadership positions and over 1,500 total volunteer hours. With my experience and drive to accomplish these goals, I am the most qualified candidate to elect in 2020.
This new policy educates students about the effects of va**ng and protects them from the dangers of va**ng. Under my leadership as Chair of Central Area Advisory Council, we were able to take a motion from Western High School's SWAT (Students Working Against To***co) team, introduce it to the school board and changed the to***co use policy. I believe we can strengthen relationships with the teacher’s union and the unions of our valuable non-instructional employees as well as heavily improve or rebuild our aging schools. By working with local and national non-profit organizations, I am helping to expand or create new opportunities for every student regardless of their family’s financial status. I am committed to keeping our schools safe by working with local law enforcement to build relationships that bridge the communities and the police.
